The City of Bats is a project that collect knowledge about bats in the city, also compared to bats in a forest and around a farm, respectively. With eight bat detectors, relative bat activities are explored: How are bats using the city: Are they feeding or just commuting or doing a lot of social vocalising?
Likewise, the City of Bats investigates and maps a larger concentrated breeding and day roosts, namely Fælledparken in Copenhagen. Why are there so many bats in Fælledparken? Can we do more to protect them, and in general improve their livelihoods in our cities?
